Über die Notwendigkeit der Monarchie (De monarchia)
Die staatstheoretische Schrift "De monarchia", des berühmten Verfassers der "Göttlichen Komödie", Dante Alighieri, entstand wahrscheinlich zwischen 1310 und 1313, in drei Büchern, in der Zeit also, als Kaiser Heinrich VII. nach Italien kam und daselbst seinen Tod fand.
