The Rings of Resilience Model
For open societies, combating terrorism is a balancing act between security, freedom and prosperity due to their vulnerabilities. This book argues in favour of countering this strategic vulnerability with the concept of strategic resilience. It analyses in detail the steps involved in building up such resilience through material, social and psychological resources and outlines nine central areas of action in a model.
