Die Idee, Menschenrechte wenn nötig auch militärisch vor staatlicher Gewalt zu schützen, hat eine lange Tradition. So alt wie die gute Absicht dahinter ist die darin angelegte Problematik einer Instrumentalisierung von als humanitär ausgewiesenen Interventionen für nicht humanitäre Zwecke durch Großmächte.
