Zeina Barakat, a Jerusalem-born Palestinian scholar, Dr. phil. (Friedrich-Schiller Universität Jena 2017), is a Research Assistant at Europa-Universität Flensburg and since 2019 a Research Associate at the Von Hügel Institute (Cambridge University/ UK).
Islam and Democracy
This volume breaks new ground by seeking to identify and focus on the challenges faced by any attempt to integrate democratic principles within the broad framework of Islamic thought and practice.
