Migration & Integration

Die starke Zuwanderung von Geflüchteten in den letzten Jahren stellt die Arbeitsmarktpolitik in Deutschland vor bislang ungeahnte Herausforderungen. In der vorliegenden Studie wird auf der Grundlage von 16 lokalen Fallstudien untersucht, welche Strategien Arbeitsagenturen und Jobcenter in der Arbeitsförderung entwickelt und welche Erfahrungen sie bei der Umsetzung der Arbeitsmarktpolitik vor Ort gesammelt haben. Hierfür wird das gesamte Spektrum an Maßnahmen der Arbeitsförderung betrachtet. Zudem wird die Arbeit der öffentlichen Arbeitsvermittlung in lokalen Netzwerken untersucht. Basierend auf den Ergebnissen werden Schlussfolgerungen für eine Weiterentwicklung der Arbeitsmarktpolitik für Geflüchtete gezogen.

This handbook is designed as a toolbox for applied and practice-orientated migration and integration research. After a concise introduction to the most important concepts of transdisciplinary and participatory research, key methodological requirements and challenges are presented. At the heart of the book are the individual instruments that encourage collaborative evaluation of integration work and the impact of migration. This practice handbook, which also contains suggestions for reflection on and the dissemination of results, is aimed at academics, policymakers, practitioners in public administration and civil society organisations as well as volunteers.
