Exberliner Collector’s Issue: 20 Years Berlin

Berlin's English language magazine celebrates two decades of Berlin with a special Collector's Edition.
A look back at 20 years. In June 2002, Berlin's major English-language city magazine launched out of a shabby P'Berg Laden as the brainchild of three international journalists. It would go on to become the largest English language publication in Germany. This commemorative issue is a history of Berlin as seen through the eyes of its international residents, artists and contributors. Including interviews from famous artists, filmmakers, and thinkers (Ai Weiwei, Christoph Niemann, Sergei Loznitsa) who have left their mark on this city and this magazine over the last two decades.
The issue will form a unique once-in-two-decade collector’s edition, brimming with exclusive content and special formats, making it a “keeper" for anyone who loves this city. The content will include a series of portraits of Berlin authors, lists of local movers-and-shakers' favourite places, and profiles of outstanding people who have made this city the extraordinary place it is. You’ll find maps, “Zeitgeist“ features about new trends, outstanding Q&A interviews with famous Berliners – people whose unique take on this city reflects the last 20 years in their respective fields (art/stage/books/film/food/music).
