Do the Kurds have the right to political autonomy in Turkey?
This thesis focuses on the Kurds in Turkey and explains how it came about that parts of the Kurdish population took up arms and waged a guerrilla war against the Turkish state in order to achieve autonomy. Firstly, there is a historical overview of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the founding of the Turkish Republic.
