Gabriel Bekö
Gabriel Bekö was born to ethnic Hungarian parents in Czechoslovakia and grew up near the river Danube in today's Slovakia. He studied civil engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. He obtained a PhD in collaboration with the Technical University of Denmark, where he has been working since then as an indoor air quality scientist. Currently, he holds an associate professor position. He lives in Ølstykke, near Copenhagen.
My Inspirations
In this journey, Gabriel Bekö guides you through the first four decades of his life with the purpose to examine the elements that have most likely shaped him and his understanding of the world and himself in it. It is, in a way, a description of his path towards the views described in his earlier book Reflections on the World of Human Inspirations: In Search of Authenticity.
