Regional Histories of Austria
Volume 33 of Contemporary Austrian Studies (CAS) is dedicated to regional histories of Austria. Martin Knoll from the University of Salzburg provides a survey on where Austrian regional history is written. H. Glenn Penny from UCLA pleads for a regional history of what he calls "the South German borderlands" in the global context from Salzburg through Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg to Berne, Switzerland.
