Robert Ervin Howard
Robert Ervin Howard (1906 - 1936) created the fictional Hyborean Age, in which the tales about Conan the Cimmerian take place. He wrote 21 stories about Conan and one poem and an essay about the world he lives. This volume contains the following of his original works: Cimmeria, The Phoenix on the Sword, The Scarlet Citadel, The Frost-Giant's Daughter, The God in the Bowl, The Tower of the Elephant, The Black Stranger.

Conan is a warrior, adventurer, thief and pirate, who comes from Cimmeria in the high north and finally becomes King of Aquilonia. His main attributes are his physical strengh, his courage and his barbaric code of honor. Conan was the first hero of the Sword and Sorcery.
