The first part of this volume examines the apocryphal texts that were only rediscovered in modern times (in particular the Nag Hammadi finds). A second part is dedicated to the infancy gospels and Acts of the Apostles, including the Gospel of James and the Act of Thekla, Andrew, and Peter.
