My Life as a Lemon Tree

The German band Fools Garden scored a worldwide hit in the mid-1990s with their pop song 'Lemon Tree'. For singer and songwriter Peter Freudenthaler, this opened the door to an extraordinary career.
In his autobiography, he recounts his early days in a school band in Pforzheim, the origins of “Lemon Tree”, his sudden rise to fame, life on tour and his encounters with celebrities and fans worldwide. He continues to perform with Fools Garden and other musical projects, as well as writing his own songs.
