Über den Autor

Dr. V. Madhusudanan Pillai is currently Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Institute of Technology Calicut, Kerala. He obtained his B.Tech. in mechanical engineering from T. K. M. College of Engineering, Quilon, Kerala, and his M.Tech. and Ph.D. in industrial engineering from National Institute of Technology Calicut. He has published 45 papers in reputed international journals and has a patent and three copyrights to his credit. He is a referee for many international peer reviewed journals and conferences and has supervised 11 Ph.D. theses. He was visiting scholar in the Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, Wichita State University, Kansas, USA, during July 2008. He has won multiple awards for teaching and for the research papers presented at international conferences. He was among 10 shortlisted institutions/researchers who were invited for presentation at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi, as part of Festival of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in 2018. 


Dr. Chalumuri Ravi Sekhar is currently working as Chief Scientist at Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR)-Central Road Research Institute (CRRI), New Delhi, India. He has an experience of over 24 years in the field of traffic engineering and transportation planning. He graduated in civil engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad and enrolled master of engineering in transportation engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. He received his doctoral degree from Kobe University, Japan. His research interests include travel time reliability analysis, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), GPS and GIS applications in transportation engineering, highway geometric design, and applications of soft computing techniques such as artificial neural networks (ANN) in transportation planning. He has published more than 100 research papers in national and international journals in the area of traffic and transportation engineering. 


Dr. Mark Goh currently holds the appointments of Director (Industry Research) at the Logistics Institute-Asia Pacific at the National University of Singapore, a joint venture with Georgia Tech, USA, and Principal Researcher at the Centre for Transportation Research and was Program Director of the Penn-State NUS Logistics Management Program. He also used to be Director of Supply Chain Solutions for Asia/Middle East with APL Logistics. He is also Professor of Management at the University of South Australia. He received his B.Sc. (Hons I) and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He also holds an M.B.A. from Deakin University, Australia. His current research interest is on buyer–seller relationships, performance measurement, and supply chain strategy. He has published over 300 technical papers in internationally refereed journals and conferences and is also editorial board member for reputed journals.
