Über die Autorin

Author:
Ute Schmidt was born in 1965 in Passau, Germany. Already as a child she was surrounded by many animals, especially work and coach horses.
Under the supervision of her stern grandfather, who was a cavalry captain, she learned much about housing, conversation of health and feeding from the very beginning.
She got solid riding lessons in dressage and jumping from the age of ten years.
In 1996 she moved to Hamburg, where she fulfilled her dream of running her own horse riding school.
She lives with her family on a farm in the south-east of Hamburg, where she teaches children and young people on her Friesian horses.
