Alina Mihaela Dima is Professor at the Faculty of Business Administration in foreign languages at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania). She is Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, Development, and Innovation at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, and previously, she was Director of the Department for Business Administration (UNESCO Chair). Her main research fields of interest are international business, competition policy, European integration, and higher education. She is Chief Editor of the journal 'Management & Marketing': Challenges for Knowledge Society (Sciendo/De Gruyter) indexed in ESCI-Clarivate and Scopus. She has edited several international books, coordinated national research projects, and authored various papers published by prestigious international journals.
Vanesa Madalina Teodorescu (Vargas) is a lecturer at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania), specializing in Entrepreneurship, European Business Environment, and Leadership within the Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages. Her academic expertise is rooted in her PhD in Business Administration, earned in 2021, focusing on personal data usage in e-commerce and consumer rights. As a researcher at the Romanian Academy’s Institute for Economic Forecasting, Vanesa actively contributes to projects on sustainability, digitalization, and economic resilience. She also plays a key organizational role in major academic events, including the International Conference on Business Excellence and the International Conference on Economics and Social Sciences. Vanesa's professional reach extends internationally as deputy managing director of the HERMES network, where she works to strengthen higher education collaborations and double degree agreements.
Petru Sandu is the founding director of the Family Business and Entrepreneurship Program at Elizabethtown College, USA, where he is a tenured professor of Entrepreneurship and Management. His research focuses on family business professionalization, governance, succession, and intergenerational entrepreneurship, published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at conferences across more than ten countries.
