Summer Salt

A Taxonomy of Salvation: Preservation is a lie. Perfection is a cage. And the sea always demands the flow.

On the scorched isle of Salino, 1851, the Glass House stands as a monument to the impossible. Within its sweltering walls, time is treated as a chemical instability, a volatile compound requiring a binding agent to prevent its evaporation.
A curator of the immutable wages a war against the tyranny of decay. Through the lens of his camera and the administration of the "Summer Salt," he seeks to render the living into the crystalline purity of a permanent image.

Summer Sault is a visceral inquiry into the predatory nature of the gaze. It is a chronicle of that agonizing threshold where the desire to save what we love becomes the very mechanism of its erasure.

"A relentless dissection of the Victorian psyche and the chemical boundaries of the soul."
"A haunting dialogue between the permanence of the salt and the transience of the tide."
"Atmospheric, exacting, and profoundly unsettling: A masterpiece of the New Gothic."
