TEGERS – Blut Adler Saga / Blood Eagle

In a remote Norwegian forest, nature photographer Jonas Berg discovers a body arranged according to the ancient Blood Eagle ritual. A rune carved into a nearby tree is the first sign that the murder is more than an isolated crime.

Detective Erik Lund takes over the investigation. Together with his team and archaeologist Professor Henrik Sorensen, he follows a trail of symbols, old documents, forgotten legends, and hidden sites. The deeper Lund enters the forest, the clearer it becomes that the killer is not acting alone. Someone is recreating a ritual believed to have vanished centuries ago, and a secret cult is watching every step of the investigation.

The runes form a message. The victims appear to be connected. And the ancient stones in the forest are hiding a truth that was never meant to return. As fog closes around the crime scenes and new signs emerge, Lund must decide how much of the old stories he is willing to believe.

Blood Eagle - In the Shadow of the Runes is the opening volume of the TEGERS – Blut Adler Saga. This Nordic mystery thriller combines a modern criminal investigation with Norse mythology, ritual murder, ancient runes, and an atmosphere of growing danger. The first case of Detective Erik Lund leads into a mystery that reaches far beyond one victim - and has only just begun.
