Police killed 260 Black people in the U.S. in 2020

George Floyd died on 25.5.2020. His death led to worldwide protests and raised media, public and political awareness of racism. But Floyd is just one of many: For the whole of 2020, the "Mapping Police Violence" database registered 260 black people as victims of police violence in the USA. The texts in this volume describe the circumstances of the police operations that led to the deaths of the 260 people and correspond verbatim to the entries on "Mapping Police Violence".
