Wissenschaft und Lehrerbildung

In den letzten Jahren hat die Lehrerbildung – Stichwort »Kompetenz- und Outputorientierung« – vielfältige bildungspolitische Steuerungsimpulse erfahren, während die universitären Wissenschaftsdisziplinen in den Hintergrund getreten sind. Der Band eruiert Möglichkeiten, Lehrerbildung wieder stärker aus den disziplinären Spezifika der Fächer heraus zu definieren. Denn fachwissenschaftliche, fachdidaktische, bildungswissenschaftliche und schulpraktische Studien- und Ausbildungselemente können erst im Zusammenwirken künftige Lehrerinnen und Lehrer auf ihr Berufsfeld vorbereiten. Eine Besonderheit des Bandes liegt darin, dass er nicht nur die universitäre Lehrerbildung in ihrer disziplinären Vielfalt vorstellt, sondern darüber hinaus auch die eng mit ihr kooperierende schulpraktische Lehrerausbildung berücksichtigt.

How was peace brought about at different time periods? What methods were employed in attempts to secure peace? The entries within this volume provide answers to these questions, focusing on the period from the 16th Century until after the Cold War. They highlight concerns that are of high relevance in the present day, such as those of the non-violent treatment of religious differences, to which early modern peace politics found noteworthy answers, or of the challenges regarding peace politics that arise from the people’s right to self-determination. Inspired by the North Rhine-Westphalian upper secondary school curriculum for the subject of history, this volume addresses teachers and researchers in the field of history and historical didactics, as well as a wider readership who is interested in historical peace research.

Angesichts erhöhter Anforderungen an Kommunikation und interkulturelle Verständigung in einer wirtschaftlich und kulturell vernetzten Welt kommt dem schulischen Fremdsprachenunterricht und mithin der Fremdsprachendidaktik als wissenschaftlicher Disziplin eine zunehmende Verantwortung zu. Die Bonner Lehrerbildung, die mit den Fächern Englisch, Französisch, Italienisch und Spanisch sowie Latein und Altgriechisch eine Reihe der wichtigsten modernen und klassischen Schulsprachen umfasst, stellt sich dieser gesellschaftlichen Herausforderung mit dem Bekenntnis zu einer fächerübergreifenden Fremdsprachendidaktik mit fachwissenschaftlicher Grundierung. Dieser Band gibt in 18 Beiträgen Impulse für Unterricht und Lehrerbildung in den genannten Fächern.

Die Autorinnen und Autoren dieses Bandes gehen der grundlegenden Frage nach, ob und inwiefern regional- und lokalgeschichtliche Perspektivierungen besondere Lernpotenziale für Kinder und Jugendliche wie auch für historisch interessierte Erwachsene bieten. Auf der Schnittstelle von Geschichtsdidaktik und Landesgeschichte gelegen, verdeutlichen analoge und digitale Beispiele aus den Bereichen Schule, Archiv, Bibliothek, Museum, Portale und Wissenschaftliche Sammlungen das signifikante Spannungsverhältnis zwischen Vertrautheit und Identifikations- wie auch Verwurzelungsbedürfnissen im Lokalen einerseits und dem Gestus des kritischen, distanzierten Fragens im Bereich der historischen Bildung andererseits. Die Spanne der Beiträge reicht hierbei von der Antike bis zur Gegenwart.

This anthology explores the fundamental question of whether and to what extent regional and local historical perspectives offer particularly great learning potential for children and young people as well as for adults interested in history. Located at the interface between historical didactics and regional history, analog and digital examples from schools, archives, libraries, museums, portals and scientific collections illustrate the significant tension between familiarity and the need for identification and rootedness in the local on the one hand and the gesture of critical, distanced questioning in the field of historical education on the other. The contributions range from antiquity to the present day.
