Über den Autor

Christoph Pott is with the Chair of Material Handling and Warehousing at TU Dortmund University

in Dortmund, Germany. His expertise is in intralogistics, especially the design

and implementation of warehouses. He is lecturing in designing intralogistics

systems and processes as well as in warehouse management systems at TU Dortmund

University and Euro-FH University of Applied Science.

Pott worked as consultant in logistics business process management and software design for multinational

businesses from different industry sectors such as retail, wholesale, manufacturing,

chemical industry, logistics service providers, finance, sport.

Pott’s special research interest is in logistics

in the professional sport sector. He investigates the provision of sport equipment

for athletes and sport events.
