Zur Ăbersetzerin Barbara Scholz: Die gebĂŒrtige Hamburgerin studierte Germanistik, Anglistik und Komparatistik in Hamburg und MĂŒnchen. Als Lektorin und Ăbersetzerin begann sie ihre Laufbahn bei der Frauenzeitschrift VITAL im Jahreszeiten Verlag, dann im Kindler & Schiermeyer Verlag, und schlieĂlich bei der Illustrierten QUICK im Heinrich-Bauer-Verlag, anschlieĂend bei Egon Fein in der Romanredaktion der BUNTEN im Burda Verlag. Eckpfeiler ihrer Ausbildung und Karriere im Literaturbetrieb waren Egon Fein (1928 - 2006) bei der BUNTEN und der Medienmanager, Verleger und Filmproduzent Josef Ferenczy (1919 - 2011).
