Berufliche Handlungskompetenz für nachhaltige Entwicklung

The promotion of sustainability-related vocational action competences, the design of corresponding didactic methods and the qualification of vocational training personnel are central challenges of a vocational training that increasingly integrates sustainability. The pilot projects and the scientific support provided in the "Vocational Education and Training for Sustainable Development" funding priority, which BIBB funded on behalf of and with funds from the BMBF, have found scientifically sound solutions to these challenges that have been tested in practice. This volume contains the results of funding line III on the development of sustainability-related competencies in occupations in the food trades and food industry. It also presents overarching findings, e.g. on the initial and further training of in-company training personnel or on the significance of the pilot projects in the context of the standard vocational training position "environmental protection and sustainability".
