Jürgen Dendorfer: Studies in history and German language and literature at Regensburg, Munich and Vienna; 2002 doctorate at Munich on the formation of aristocratic groups and kingship using the example of the Counts of Sulzbach; 2008 habilitation at Munich; 2010-2011 chair for medieval history at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt; from 10/2011 chair for medieval history I and director of the Department of Regional History at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg. Member of the board of the Commission for Historical Regional Studies in Baden-Württemberg, project leader of SFB 948 Heroes – Heroizations – Heroisms.Andreas Jobst: Studies in history and German philology at Regensburg, doctorate on the history of the news media at Regensburg. After completing his internship, he worked at the Episcopal Central Archives in Regensburg and the City Archives in Pforzheim. Since 2016, head of the City Archives Freiburg im Breisgau; 1st chairman of the Breisgau Historical Association Schauinsland.
Frank L. Schäfer: Legal Studies at Heidelberg, LL.M. at Cambridge and doctorate at Heidelberg on the law of enrichment from a historical-comparative perspective.
